Job Description
What You'll Do Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate full-cycle hourly recruiting activities. Post job openings and manage candidate communications. Screen internal and external applicants. Schedule interviews, pre-employment testing, and pre-employment requirements. Coordinate employment offers. Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs. HR Administration Process HRIS transactions including: New hires Transfers Wage changes Certification and progression updates Maintain employee records and electronic personnel files. Enter approved time adjustments for employee absences. Support unemployment claim administration and documentation. Employee Support Serve as a resource for employees regarding: Company policies Benefits Payroll questions Internal job opportunities Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement and recognition activities. Help foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture. Safety & Teamwork Promote and support workplace safety initiatives. Demonstrate company values through respectful and professional interactions. Contribute to team success by assisting with additional HR-related projects as needed. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Preferred Previous Human Resources experience. Experience with HRIS systems and employee data management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. What Makes You Successful Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. Excellent customer service mindset. Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements Ability to communicate in person and by telephone. Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 10 pounds. Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment.
