As our next HR Generalist , you'll be the behind-the-scenes superhero keeping our workplace running smoothly. You'll juggle recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll, and compliance with a smile—and maybe even a little flair. Whether you're guiding a new hire through their first day or explaining 401(k) options like a pro, you'll be a go-to resource for our growing team. What You'll Be Up To Playing matchmaker between SCCU and amazing job candidates (job postings, screenings, interviews—you know the drill) Rolling out the red carpet for new hires through an onboarding experience that actually makes them excited for Monday Keeping payroll precise—because people like getting paid (on time and correctly) Answering employee questions about benefits like a walking encyclopedia of all things wellness Helping with compliance and making sure SCCU's policies play nicely with state and federal laws Boosting employee morale by organizing fun events and engagement initiatives (karaoke optional, enthusiasm required) Maintaining accurate records and documentation that would make even the most Type-A person proud What You Bring to the Team 1-3 years of experience in HR or a related field Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or something similar—or just be so awesome you make us forget to check Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a huge plus Excellent communication skills—you'll be writing, emailing, and talking a lot (and we love a good communicator) Microsoft Office wizardry (we see you, VLOOKUP fans) A knack for balancing independence with teamwork (sometimes you'll fly solo, sometimes you'll be in the squad) Perks of the Job Work with a passionate and supportive team that genuinely cares Make an impact on the employee experience from day one Competitive benefits and opportunities to grow with us A workplace that's serious about its mission but doesn't take itself too seriously Why SCCU?
