We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruiting Specialist located in Fond du Lac, WI.How You Will Contribute

Our Recruiting Specialist plays an important role in attracting and hiring talent across Ahern while supporting recruiting operations and talent pipeline initiatives. This position focuses on recruiting administrative and other designated positions, supporting sourcing efforts across the recruiting team, coordinating high school and college relations activities, and managing key recruiting and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities:

Recruit and manage the hiring process for administrative and other designated positions across Ahern.

Support recruiters with sourcing and talent pipeline development for professional and technical roles.

Review applicants, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, administer assessments and background checks, and facilitate the candidate experience.

Partner with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and leadership to understand staffing needs and identify effective recruiting solutions.

Manage recruiting administration activities, including applicant tracking system maintenance, reporting, and recruitment metrics.

Support coordination of recruiting events and activities for Ahern's high school, college, and internship programs.

Conduct new hire orientation and assist with planning and coordinating quarterly orientation programs.

Collaborate with Marketing and Internal Communications to promote Ahern's employer brand through social media, events, and recruiting campaigns. What You Need to Qualify

An Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related field and one to three years of recruiting, recruiting coordination, human resources, talent acquisition, or related experience is required.

Additional Qualifications:

Proficiency with recruiting tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media platforms, and applicant tracking systems (SuccessFactors preferred).

Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Demonstrates urgency, attention to detail, professionalism, and customer service when supporting hiring managers and candidates.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. What's in it for you?
