Job Description

Under general supervision, works at the full-performance level performing human resources duties in areas which include, but are not limited to, medical leaves of absence, ADA accommodations, work restrictions, equipment requests, workers compensation, civil rights, discipline, donated leave, investigations or other human resources functions within the Office of Human Resources Management. Will need to be able to interpret laws, rules and policies related to human resources and related functions. This position is a main point of contact in the Employee Management division for employees of DHHR, in regards to employee leave of absences, work restrictions, and ADA accommodations. Will be responsible to insure that employees receive the correct documents needed in regards to ADA, FMLA, MLOA, worker's compensation and other human resource areas. Will also answer any questions that may arise regarding these absences as well. May participate in investigations. Performs related work as required. Click The APPLY Link To Apply Online .
Training:
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Substitution:
Candidates may substitute related experience for the required education at the rate of one (1) year of experience for thirty (30) semester hours of education.
Experience:
Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid professional human resources, payroll, bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Substitution:
Graduate coursework from a regionally accredited college or university may substitute for the required experience at the rate of one (1) year of experience for fifteen (15) semester hours of education.
Note:
A valid driver's license may be required. One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid professional supervisory and/or management experience may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
