Company Description The Tyler Union and M&H Valve Group, a division of McWane, Inc., is the nation's leading manufacturer of Ductile Iron Waterworks Fittings and Appurtenances has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Recruiter. The main manufacturing facilities are located in Anniston, AL. The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for supporting talent acquisition efforts for Tyler Union and M&H Valve. This includes skilled trades, hourly production team members, supervisors, technical roles, and management positions as needed. This position will partner with the site Human Resource Managers and operations to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates to support the foundry. Job Description Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities ( Other duties may be assigned.) Recruitment Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for hourly and salaried positions across the foundry Post job openings on internal/external job boards Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, job requirements, and hiring timelines Develop and maintain job postings and ensure accurate, engaging descriptions for skilled trades and production roles Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate candidate assessments Set appointments for onsite interviews and tours Talent Pipeline Development Proactively source candidates through job boards, community outreach, trade schools, unions, and social media Build pipelines for high-turnover roles Maintain strong relationships with local workforce development organizations, technical schools, and staffing partners Participate in job fairs and hiring events to attract candidates HR Customer Service Ensure a positive candidate experience from application through onsite interview Coordinate interviews, plant tours, and pre-employment processes (background checks, drug screens, physicals) as necessary Communicate effectively with candidates regarding status and expectations ensuring timely disposition of candidates Compliance Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations as it relates to postings Maintain accurate recruiting records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Relationship Building Work closely with HR and operations to support workforce planning initiatives Provide market insights on labor trends and hiring challenges Assist with onboarding coordination to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the plant Confidentiality
  • Maintain complete confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of the position. HRIS System Actively use the HRIS system Training Backup for HR new hire orientation and facilitate other HR training programs (KCA) as needed. Assists with orientation and first-day logistics, as needed Knowledge
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes in human resources, talent management and employment law.

Employees may be required to lift to 30 pounds, as needed. The work environment varies between a standard office setting and a manufacturing plant. Plant conditions may include exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise. Regular walks through the plant are required. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as needed, including safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats.
