Job Description

Overview SHR Talent is partnering with a metal fabrication and construction client in Mobile, AL in its search for a Recruiter . This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for skilled trades, manufacturing, construction, and corporate positions across a growing organization. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring talent in industrial, fabrication, manufacturing, shipbuilding, construction, or related environments. The Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, build talent pipelines, and ensure a positive candidate experience while supporting the company's workforce planning and growth initiatives. Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding support Recruit for a variety of positions, including skilled trades, welders, fitters, machinists, project managers, estimators, supervisors, engineers, and corporate staff Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, career fairs, trade schools, and industry associations Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill positions within the metal fabrication and construction industries Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, technical skills, and cultural fit Coordinate interview scheduling and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams Manage candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS) Develop and execute recruitment marketing initiatives to strengthen employer branding and attract top talent Attend job fairs, hiring events, trade school partnerships, and community outreach programs Monitor recruiting metrics, hiring trends, and workforce market conditions to improve hiring effectiveness Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and recruiting best practices Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within construction, manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, shipbuilding, or skilled trades environments Proven success managing full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced hiring environment Experience recruiting for skilled labor, blue-collar, and technical positions strongly preferred Knowledge of sourcing techniques, recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media recruiting platforms Strong interviewing, relationship-building, and candidate assessment skills Ability to manage multiple open requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing a positive candidate experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting technology platforms Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with hiring managers and leadership Knowledge of employment laws, hiring practices, and workforce compliance requirements This Recruiter opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in attracting and hiring top talent for a leading metal fabrication and construction organization while helping drive long-term workforce growth and operational success. #IND123
