Skilled Trades Recruiter (Bilingual Preferred) The main purpose of this recruiter role is the implementation of effective strategies to attract and retain a diverse pool of qualified talent for Trade Team to offer our clients. Will work in collaboration with candidates and hiring managers or human resource professionals to fully support recruitment and follow through to the new hire onboarding process.

Main Responsibilities:

Provide recruiting support including job posting and follow up, candidate sourcing, screening and selections, scheduling and conducting interviews. Managing relationships, including hiring managers and candidates. Provide hiring managers with sourcing solutions for their vacancies. Ability to partner with hiring managers to gain an understanding of job requirements and qualifications for all jobs within the client company to improve effectiveness of candidate sourcing. Actively approach candidates who may be suitable for an opportunity with our clients, using a variety of recruiting systems. Ability to effectively recruit and represent the company at job fairs and various hiring or networking events in the area. Make job offers and handle negotiation of offers. Use systems in place to build a talent pool of suitable candidates. Be proactive in creating a pipeline of talent to fill vacancies. Look for areas to develop continuous improvement within the recruitment department on systems and processes within the team. Use social media to engage with candidates, promote and enhance opportunities. Ensure that all candidates are actively managed through the process and that they have positive hiring experience. Provide backup support in the onboarding pre hire process by scheduling pre hire drug/alcohol and/or any additional testing required by the client. Assist with new hire orientation. Keeping up to date with local market knowledge and recruitment practices Monitor and report recruitment activity on weekly basis.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experienced in Recruitment within various disciplines and industries such as manufacturing, industrial, or marine. Prefer candidate to be fluent in both English and Spanish. Ability to focus on priorities and deliver to tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Knowledge of or ability to learn process flow and the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Familiarity with social media recruitment, job boards and professional networking sites. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc). Additional Position Income Information Salary offers will be dependent on prior relevant experience. In addition to the agreed upon salary, this role will be eligible for our Recruiter Monthly Incentive Program. Office hours are slightly flexible as a salaried employee. A general expectation of 7:30am-4:30pm, with a 1-hr lunch, is ideal. Cell phone will be provided, or a discussion of a reasonable phone allowance can be had to use your personal device.
