Job Summary:
The College Student Recruitment Coordinator organizes and coordinates the recruitment operations for the college. Seeks out potential candidates by representing the college at high schools, community colleges, and professional association gatherings. Coordinates and/or delivers the college's presentations at campus recruitment events. Develops and executes initiatives focused on enhancing student recruitment rates.
Additional Department Summary:
This position supports the College of Communication and Information Sciences by managing daily recruitment operations and serving as the primary liaison to UA Admissions for all instate and out-of-state travel. The position represents the College at regional and national recruitment events, engaging prospective students, families, and counselors while effectively communicating C&IS opportunities and academic strengths. Oversees the Student Recruitment Team (SRT), manages campus visit experiences and daily information sessions, and collaborates with the Program Manager to staff major campus recruitment events. Additionally, the role coordinates communication and marketing efforts for prospective students, including digital outreach and distribution of promotional materials. Plays a key role in delivering a welcoming, informative, and seamless recruitment experience.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays when needed. Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills (written and oral). Strong computer skills and knowledge. Leadership ability. Human relations skills. Organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and staff. Strong and comfortable in public speaking.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in program support, events or recruitment. Educational background in communication-related field preferred.
