This role will focus on identifying, attracting, and hiring top legal talent to support the company's growing legal and compliance functions. The recruiter will work closely with our leadership to build strong talent pipelines and ensure a seamless candidate experience from sourcing to onboarding. Previous in-house experience is required. This role can potentially be part or full time. Salary range is $85,000 to $125,000 commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Recruiting:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all attorneys and paralegals.
Talent Sourcing:
Proactively source, identify, and engage with legal professionals through networking, referrals, online platforms, and industry events.
Stakeholder Partnership:
Collaborate with senior legal leadership to define hiring needs, develop job descriptions, and align on recruitment strategies.
Candidate Screening & Assessment:
Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit, and provide thoughtful recommendations to hiring team.
Employer Branding:
Promote the company's culture and career opportunities within the legal community, ensuring a strong employer value proposition.
Process Optimization:
Maintain recruiting metrics, ensure compliance with internal policies and employment laws, and continuously improve recruiting tools and processes.
Diversity & Inclusion:
Support D&I initiatives by developing strategies to attract diverse legal talent.
Market Intelligence:
Stay informed on legal industry hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; JD or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR) a plus. Minimum 3-5 years of recruiting experience, preferably with a focus on legal or professional services roles. Strong understanding of the legal market, including law firm structures, in-house legal career paths, and legal skill sets. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with candidates and internal stakeholders. Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple searches in a fast-paced environment. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and standard recruiting technologies.
