This position manages full-cycle recruiting for assigned departments, partnering with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and Talent Acquisition leadership to deliver exceptional service and results. Operating within a collaborative, fast-paced environment, the Specialist executes sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, and offer facilitation with precision and professionalism. This role embodies the company's values through every candidate interaction, ensuring a high-quality experience that reflects organizational excellence. The Talent Acquisition Specialist contributes directly to the organization's success by identifying top talent, maintaining process integrity, and supporting enterprise-wide hiring initiatives that drive growth, inclusion, and operational excellence. Essential Functions and Duties 1.
Full-Cycle Recruitment & Requisition Management:
Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned positions, ensuring efficient and timely fulfillment of open requisitions. Conduct thorough intake meetings with hiring managers to understand job scope, success profiles, and team dynamics. Develop and post job descriptions that are clear, inclusive, and aligned with brand standards. Source, screen, and interview candidates using behavioral and competency-based methodologies. Partner with HR Operations and hiring managers to prepare and deliver offers consistent with company policy and internal equity. Maintain organized communication, ensuring a positive and transparent candidate experience throughout all hiring stages. 2. Sourcing & Talent 
Market Engagement:
Identify and attract high-quality candidates through proactive sourcing using online job boards, social media, employee referrals, and professional networks. Build and maintain talent pools for frequently recruited and mission-critical positions. Support employer branding initiatives by engaging candidates with authentic storytelling about the company's culture, mission, and values. Conduct research on labor market conditions and sourcing trends to inform outreach strategy. Partner with senior members of the TA team to develop diversity-focused and community-based recruitment pipelines. 3.
Candidate Experience & Brand Stewardship:
Serve as a brand ambassador for the organization, ensuring candidates experience professionalism, respect, and consistency at every interaction. Maintain responsive communication with candidates, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the process. Facilitate efficient interview coordination, candidate scheduling, and feedback management. Gather feedback from candidates and hiring managers to identify areas for process or experience enhancement. Reinforce the organization's reputation as an employer of choice through integrity, empathy, and follow-through. 4.
Hiring Manager Partnership & Stakeholder Collaboration:
Build strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers, ensuring alignment between talent needs and recruitment outcomes. Provide consultative support on candidate selection, interview techniques, and labor market conditions. Communicate progress updates and challenges clearly, proactively managing expectations and timelines. Partner with HR Business Partners and Total Rewards to ensure offers align with compensation guidelines and workforce planning. Participate in departmental meetings and talent discussions to anticipate upcoming hiring needs. 5.
Compliance, Documentation, & Data Integrity:
Maintain full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal hiring policies (EEO, ADA, OFCCP, FLSA, etc.). Accurately record all candidate interactions, evaluations, and status changes in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness across all recruiting documentation. Conduct reference and background checks as required by position and policy. Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and suggesting solutions to enhance compliance and efficiency. 6.
Collaboration & Team Enablement:
Collaborate with fellow recruiters, senior specialists, and managers to share best practices and coordinate recruiting activity across departments. Contribute to special projects such as recruiting process improvement, system implementation, or talent market analysis. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives by participating in outreach events and partnerships with community organizations. Attend regular TA team meetings and professional development sessions to remain informed about hiring trends, new tools, and compliance updates. Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and teamwork in meeting enterprise hiring goals.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience and concurrent certification may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Education:
Advanced education or coursework in talent acquisition or HR operations.
Required Knowledge:
Solid understanding of full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection. Familiarity with employment regulations and equitable hiring practices. Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment workflows. Understanding of talent pipeline management and workforce planning fundamentals.
Preferred Knowledge:
Knowledge of behavioral interviewing and structured selection methods. Awareness of recruitment analytics and performance measurement metrics.
Required Experience:
Minimum two (2) to four (4) years of professional recruiting experience in a corporate or staffing environment. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proven record of building rapport with hiring managers and candidates alike. Experience coordinating interview panels, managing logistics, and maintaining organized workflows.
Preferred Experience:
Experience recruiting in healthcare, life sciences, or distribution environments. Exposure to large-scale or high-volume recruiting operations. Involvement in system implementations or process-improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present confidently to candidates and hiring teams. Strong organizational and prioritization skills with acute attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and HR technology systems (iSolvedHire, Dayforce, Workday, or Greenhouse). Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism. Collaborative team player who takes ownership of deliverables and deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Data-driven mindset and comfort with metrics-based performance evaluation. Knowledge of sourcing tools, Boolean search techniques, and CRM databases. Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and maintain composure in changing environments.
