Job Description
About the Role Youngquist Investments is looking for a Hiring Manager to join our team and take ownership of how we grow. This is a hands-on, people-first role at the center of our division: you will lead hiring and onboarding for the team, support day-to-day operations with simple bookkeeping, and work directly alongside our Portfolio Manager as a trusted right hand. This is not a role with a rigid job description. We are a small, fast-moving team, and the person who thrives here will be comfortable wearing multiple hats — recruiting one day, organizing records the next, and jumping in wherever the team needs support. No prior experience is required. We care far more about who you are than what is on your resume, and we will train the right person. What You'll Do Own the hiring process from start to finish — posting openings, reviewing applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews, and coordinating offers. Welcome and onboard new team members, making sure they have everything they need to get up to speed and feel at home. Maintain organized records for hiring, onboarding, and team documentation. Handle simple bookkeeping tasks such as tracking expenses, organizing receipts and invoices, and keeping financial records tidy. Assist the Portfolio Manager with administrative and operational support as needed. Pitch in across the division wherever an extra set of hands is needed — flexibility is the heart of this role. What We're Looking For No specific experience or degree required — we will train you. A flexible, adaptable self-starter who is comfortable juggling different types of work and shifting priorities. Strong people skills — friendly, professional, and able to make new hires feel welcome. Organized and detail-oriented, especially with records and numbers. Trustworthy and discreet when handling sensitive information. A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to learn. What We Offer Full-time, on-site position with consistent hours. Hands-on training and mentorship — grow into the role with support from our team. A varied workday where no two days look the same. The chance to play a central role in building and shaping a growing team. How to Apply Submit your application through Indeed. No formal resume polish needed — just tell us a bit about yourself and why this role sounds like a fit. We look forward to meeting you. Youngquist Investments is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or any other protected status.
