Independent Contractor Coordinator (Recruiting & Operations) The Opportunity We're looking for a highly organized, relationship-driven Independent Contractor Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys recruiting, building strong relationships, keeping processes organized, and ensuring contractors have an exceptional experience from onboarding through ongoing engagement. As the Independent Contractor Coordinator, you'll play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, supporting, and retaining our network of independent contractors. You'll partner closely with our Operations, Accounting, and Sales teams to ensure contractors are compliant, paid accurately, and equipped for success. What You'll Do Recruiting & Onboarding Source, recruit, interview, and onboard independent contractors. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified contractors using the company's CRM. Guide contractors through the onboarding process and ensure all required documentation is completed. Maintain contractor records and keep compliance documentation current. Coordinate contract setup, pay rates, start dates, and contractor agreements. Compliance & Administration Manage contractor compliance, audits, and required documentation. Assist with internal insurance audits and compliance reporting. Review and maintain contractor agreements and client contract documentation. Organize and maintain digital files and documentation within company systems. Ensure CRM records remain accurate and up to date. Operations Support Support Operations during event staffing and contractor check-ins. Coordinate contractor payroll review with Operations and Accounting. Assist with monthly contractor Pay Day coordination and communications. Help manage contractor supplies, uniforms, and equipment distribution. Maintain office inventory and coordinate ordering of office supplies. Contractor Engagement & Retention Develop programs that improve contractor satisfaction and retention. Manage contractor appreciation initiatives, referral programs, and recognition efforts. Coordinate team meetings, contractor events, and engagement activities. Support social media and public relations initiatives highlighting contractor success. What We're Looking For 5+ years of recruiting, operations coordination, staffing, human resources, or contractor management experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong relationship-building and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and CRM systems. Comfortable working cross-functionally with Operations, Accounting, and Sales. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Reliable transportation.
