$42,000 to $52,000Annually Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Manage the full candidate lifecycle. Screen, interview, and hire drivers/employees (verifications, MVR/PSP checks). Coordinate travel/lodging. Facilitate smooth onboarding (HR/payroll system setup, I-9s, orientation, trainer scheduling, truck assignment).Compliance & Administration:
Maintain compliant HR records and Driver Qualification files. Complete Clearinghouse queries. Distribute PPE and manage inventory. Process weekly payroll reports (deductions, bonuses, training pay). Update and distribute truck assignment lists.Support & Outreach:
Represent the company at job fairs and CDL schools. Prepare separation notices/exit interviews. Assist with general HR, Safety, and Compliance tasks. ... Working hours: 7:30 AM- 4:30
PM Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 yearsQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in transportation and logistics, with a strong knowledge of the trucking industry and truckers.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and driver qualification requirements is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
