This role is essential for recruiting, onboarding, and supporting our driver and employee workforce while ensuring HR and DOT compliance.

$42,000 to $52,000

Annually Responsibilities:

• Recruitment & Onboarding:

  Manage the full candidate lifecycle. Screen, interview, and hire drivers/employees (verifications, MVR/PSP checks). Coordinate travel/lodging. Facilitate smooth onboarding (HR/payroll system setup, I-9s, orientation, trainer scheduling, truck assignment).

• Compliance & Administration:

  Maintain compliant HR records and Driver Qualification files. Complete Clearinghouse queries. Distribute PPE and manage inventory. Process weekly payroll reports (deductions, bonuses, training pay). Update and distribute truck assignment lists.

• Support & Outreach:

  Represent the company at job fairs and CDL schools. Prepare separation notices/exit interviews. Assist with general HR, Safety, and Compliance tasks. ... Working hours: 7:30 AM

PM Skills:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in transportation and logistics, with a strong knowledge of the trucking industry and truckers.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and driver qualification requirements is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
