Job Description
Description We are seeking an experienced Recruiter with a background in government or public-sector hiring. This role will manage full-cycle recruitment for a wide range of positions and partner closely with hiring managers and community organizations to attract qualified, diverse talent. Key Responsibilities
+ Manage the full recruitment process from job posting through onboarding.
+ Recruit for a variety of administrative, professional, technical, and community-based roles.
+ Partner with government departments and hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
+ Source candidates through job boards, career fairs, community organizations, and professional networks.
+ Review applications, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate the selection process.
+ Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure compliance with government hiring policies and employment regulations.
+ Utilize NEOGOV or a similar applicant tracking system to manage recruitment activity.
+ Support community outreach efforts and diversity recruitment initiatives. Requirements
+ Previous recruiting experience required, preferably within government or public-sector environments.
+ Experience recruiting across a wide range of job categories.
+ Familiarity with NEOGOV or a similar recruitment platform.
+ Knowledge of government hiring processes, policies, and employment regulations.
+ Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
+ Experience with community outreach and diverse candidate sourcing preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
