Job Description

Job Summary :
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring skilled tradespeople in various industrial sectors. You will specifically works to fill positions such as Electricians, Plumbers, Welders, Millwright, Pipefitters, Carpenters and other specialized craftworkers. Salary $45K - $50K plus commission-$.25 per hour worked by each employee placed Relocation expenses provided The Talent Acquisition Specialist will source and place skilled and semi-skilled talent within the following industrial sectors:
Commercial Construction Heavy/Light Industrial Power Generation Maritime Shutdown/Turnaround Key Responsibilities :
Communicating effectively with non-English-speaking (Spanish) candidates and clients, ensuring clarity and understanding throughout the recruitment process. Review resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications and experience. Conduct phone screens, virtual and in-person interviews to evaluate technical skills, certifications, and work history. Use job boards, social media, trade schools, and industry-specific recruitment channels to source candidates. Match candidates to open positions based on skillsets, certifications, and experience levels. Develop and maintain a talent pipeline of skilled craftworkers for current and future roles. Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process and during onboarding.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience as a recruiter, specifically sourcing and placing skilled craftworkers. 2-3 years of experience working in Commercial Construction, Heavy/Light Industrial, Power Generation, Maritime Shutdown/Turnaround industrial sectors. Knowledge of craftworker trades and related certifications/licenses. Familiarity with labor laws, OSHA requirements, and industry safety standards. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. #HP100
