This role leads high-volume and leadership-level hiring efforts across store operations, and corporate functions. As a senior recruiter, the Lead Talent Acquisition Partner aligns closely with field and corporate leaders to forecast staffing needs, develop targeted sourcing strategies, and deliver a seamless, brand-aligned candidate experience. In addition to managing a full requisition load, this position provides guidance to Talent Acquisition Partners, supports hiring process improvements and helps shape employer branding initiatives. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, deep knowledge of the retail talent landscape, and the ability to influence through expertise and results.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Mentor, and support the recruitment team, ensuring alignment with best practices, KPIs, and overall goals. Foster collaboration and provide guidance on challenging recruitments. Develop and implement recruitment strategies in partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition and Training. Lead high-priority or complex recruitment, ensuring effective sourcing and a diverse candidate pool. Manage staffing for both corporate and assigned store-level openings. Collaborate with the Director of Talent Acquisition and Training to manage relationships with recruitment vendors, ensure effective partnerships, and evaluate vendor performance to align with organizational hiring strategies and budget. Oversee the candidate's experience, ensuring smooth, positive interactions and effective communication throughout the recruitment process. Monitor key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire) and provide regular updates to leadership. Adjust strategies based on data and results. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, establish clear expectations, and ensure alignment throughout the recruitment process. Evaluate and refine recruitment processes to increase efficiency, enhance candidate experience, and ensure compliance with company standards and industry trends. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Strong leadership skills to guide and support a recruitment team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with team members, candidates, and stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. This position requires travel as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably within a retail or similar industry. Experience with recruitment software and tools is a plus. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is advantageous but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employees must frequently use their hands to handle or feel objects and must be able to speak and hear clearly. The employee may occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The employee must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
