Job Description:
PRIMARY FUNCTION
The primary function of a Recruiting Administrative Assistant is to assist Driver Recruiters by working with candidates and employment verifications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Verifying the employment of applicants via fax, phone or other required online tools Running MVR and other background reports on applicants Verifying accuracy of information on driver applications Weekly audits of drivers files to meet DOT requirements Heavy data entry of driver applications Other administrative duties and special projects as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Associates degree in business preferred and/or equivalent work experience At least one year of administrative support experience preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel) Internet savvy - ability to search/research for information as necessary Excellent typing and data entry skills required Ability to plan and organize, attention to detail, problem-solving skills Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment Must have the ability to work alone or in a team environment Excellent oral and written communication skills needed Possess courteous, yet assertive telephone personality
