The Recruiter will play a key role in sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates to ensure we maintain a reliable and safety-focused workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and attract qualified CDL drivers and transportation personnel through job boards, social media, referrals, and industry networks Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications and fit Verify credentials, including CDL licenses, driving records, and compliance with DOT regulations Coordinate and manage the full recruitment cycle, from initial contact through onboarding Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs Collaborate with operations and safety teams to understand staffing requirements Ensure all hiring practices comply with federal, state, and company regulations Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) Assist with onboarding, orientation scheduling, and new hire documentation
Qualifications:
Previous recruiting experience in transportation, logistics, or trucking - required Knowledge of CDL requirements and DOT regulations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple candidates and job openings simultaneously Proficiency with recruiting tools, job boards, and ATS platforms High attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience recruiting over-the-road (OTR), Reefer, and Dry Van Familiarity with driver retention strategies and industry challenges Bilingual skills (a plus, depending on workforce needs)
Compensation:
$1200/week + commission component (open for discussion) 1099
Position Full-time Pay:
$1,200.00 per week
