• Assist in training of new tour guides in the office
• Assist in scheduling and handling visit requests made by coaches, students, and staff members
• Assist in scheduling of student tour guides' daily schedules
• Counsel, provide information and advice about North Central College generally, and about its admissions procedures specifically, to prospective students, applicants, their parents and secondary school guidance counselors in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
• Reach out and encourage prospective students and admitted students to explore and eventually matriculate at North Central College through staffing on-campus programs, and engaging in correspondence, email and/or telephone contact.
• Assist with other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
• Represent the North Central College undergraduate admissions office in assigned regions and create and implement recruitment and outreach plans for those areas. Do the job duties for this position include any driving requirements? No Job Qualifications
• Current North Central Student.
• Minimum GPA of 2.0
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Dynamic personality.
• High-quality customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes of materials.
• Fluency in a second language preferred.
