JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Physician and Provider Recruitment plans, manages and organizes all aspects of the recruitment and hiring processes for physician and advance practice providers (APPs) within Blessing Health System. This position develops and implements comprehensive strategies for recruitment, hiring and onboarding for physician, advanced practice and other identified specialties to support organizational growth, physician and provider retention, succession planning and service line growth across the health system. The Director will serve a key role in strategic planning and practice development. The Director partners closely with executive leadership, medical staff leadership, operational leaders and external recruitment partners to ensure that Blessing attracts and retains high-quality physicians and APPs aligned with the mission, values and strategic goals of the health system. The Director will lead a team dedicated to physician and provider recruiting and onboarding and will report to the Chief Medical Officer. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree required Advanced degree in business administration, healthcare administration, human resources or related field required. Minimum of three years of physician and/or APP recruitment experience required.
PREFERRED
Minimum of three years of progressive leadership or management experience preferred. Experience in hospital or health system provider recruitment strongly preferred.
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Profession in Human Resources (SPHR), Certified Medical Staff Recruiter (American Academy of Medical Management), Fellow of the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (FASPR) or similar preferred.
