About The Role Zekelman is seeking a driven, customer-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts with a strong emphasis on high-volume hourly manufacturing positions while also supporting professional and salaried hiring needs. What You'll Do Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions across multiple locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver exceptional recruiting support. Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates using a variety of recruiting channels. Coordinate interview processes, including second and third-round interviews with management and executive leadership. Ensure recruiting and selection processes are compliant with established talent acquisition policies and procedures. Create and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified talent for manufacturing and professional positions. Draft, review, and manage job postings and recruitment advertising. Conduct reference checks, background checks, and coordinate pre-employment activities. Leverage social media and networking platforms to attract passive and active candidates. Support diversity, military, and community outreach recruiting initiatives through job fairs and networking events. Coach HR and operational leaders on recruiting best practices, hiring trends, and selection tools. Track recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill and cost-to-fill, and provide regular reporting. Partner with local HR teams to support onboarding and new hire integration. Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and hiring outcomes. Assist with various HR administration and generalist responsibilities as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Experience recruiting both hourly operations talent and professional-level positions. Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, talent acquisition processes, and employment laws. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications Experience recruiting for multiple geographic locations. Background in a high-volume staffing agency environment. Knowledge of Canadian recruiting practices and employment markets. Proven success managing high-volume requisition loads and delivering measurable recruiting results.
