This position is ideal for an experienced recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced staffing environment and has a proven ability to recruit both high-volume light-industrial and skilled-labor positions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the full recruiting cycle, develop strong candidate pipelines, and partner with our internal teams to quickly and effectively meet client staffing needs. We are looking for someone who is proactive, results-driven, organized, and understands the sense of urgency required in the staffing industry. What You'll Do Manage full-cycle recruiting for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire opportunities. Source, screen, interview, and identify qualified candidates based on client requirements. Recruit for high-volume light-industrial positions, including warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, shipping/receiving, material handling, picker/packer, forklift, machine operator, and quality control roles. Recruit for skilled and semi-skilled positions, including maintenance technicians, mechanics, welders, CNC operators, quality technicians, and other specialized positions. Proactively source candidates through Indeed, job boards, social media, referrals, internal databases, community resources, and other recruiting channels. Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for both high-volume and hard-to-fill positions. Evaluate candidate experience, technical skills, certifications, availability, reliability, and overall job fit. Respond quickly to new job orders and changing client staffing needs. Clearly communicate job duties, schedules, pay rates, work locations, requirements, and expectations to candidates. Coordinate onboarding and pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and client-specific requirements. Maintain consistent candidate communication and follow-up throughout the recruiting and onboarding process to improve engagement, show rates, and retention. Maintain accurate and timely candidate information within Xcel's applicant tracking and staffing systems. Participate in job fairs, hiring events, community outreach, and other recruiting initiatives. Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Operations, branch, and onsite teams to meet recruiting and placement goals. What We're Looking For Bilingual English/Spanish required. 3-5 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience required. Experience recruiting light-industrial and skilled-labor positions strongly preferred. Staffing agency and high-volume recruiting experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, onboarding, and follow-up. Proven ability to recruit for both high-volume and hard-to-fill positions. Strong sourcing skills and experience utilizing Indeed, job boards, social media, referrals, and applicant tracking systems. Ability to understand job requirements and effectively assess candidates for relevant experience, technical skills, certifications, and overall fit. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously. Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and follow-through. Comfortable making outbound recruiting calls and proactively engaging both active and passive candidates. Strong computer, applicant tracking system, and data-entry skills.
