JOB SUMMARY
The HR Recruiter is responsible for supporting and executing full-cycle recruiting efforts for both hourly and salaried positions across the organization, including campus recruiting, skilled trades, manufacturing, engineering, and professional roles. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this position partners closely with hiring managers to support workforce planning initiatives, develop recruiting strategies, improve candidate experience, and ensure timely hiring execution. This role will manage candidate pipelines, maintain recruiting data and metrics, coordinate recruiting events, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the talent acquisition function. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, professional in communication, and experienced in sourcing and recruiting within a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to execute recruiting strategies and hiring plans Manage full-cycle recruiting processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, and offer coordination Create and maintain job descriptions, interview guides, and recruiting documentation Utilize sourcing tools, job boards, social media platforms, and networking strategies to identify qualified candidates Maintain accurate candidate records, communication, and hiring activity within the applicant tracking system Track and analyze recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline activity, and hiring trends Coordinate and participate in recruiting events, including job fairs, campus events, career days, and onsite hiring events Ensure candidates receive timely, professional communication throughout the recruitment process Partner with HR and leadership to ensure recruiting practices remain compliant with applicable employment laws and company policies Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates and prior applicants for future hiring needs Support continuous improvement efforts related to recruiting processes, candidate experience, and hiring efficiency Assist with onboarding coordination and pre-employment processes as needed Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to support workforce growth initiatives Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting technologies Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
Work experience:
3 + years of recruiting experience Minimum of two (3) years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience required Manufacturing, skilled trades, engineering, or industrial recruiting experience preferred Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms required Experience with APS Hire or similar ATS platforms preferred
