Talent Recruiter / Inside Sales — Behavioral Health (In-Office - Kennebunk, ME) Back to Basics Behavioral Health Services | Effective $26-$30/hr at target performance | $18.90/hr base + $81 per hire, no cap We're hiring two recruiters who want to own a pipeline, not just answer phones. Why this role exists Every child on the Maine waitlist is in need of a Behavioral Health Professional we haven't hired yet. Recruiting at Back to Basics is mission-critical. Every BHP we hire is the difference between a child staying on the waitlist and a child getting support. The faster and better you hire, the more kids in Maine get the help they need. We've spent the last six months rebuilding our recruiting system from the ground up. Structured outreach cadences, clear scripts, real scorecards, a renovated Asana pipeline, and a tested Group Q&A format that produces better candidates. Your job is to run that system with discipline — and help us make it sharper. What you'll actually do Run an initial outreach cadence on every new lead — text, call, voicemail, follow-up — and reach the candidates who are ready to work Host your own Group Q&A sessions (we'll train you on how to run them) Conduct structured 1-on-1 interviews using a tested rubric, and document your decisions clearly Work an applicant ledger of 16,000+ past leads to surface candidates we missed the first time Track everything in Asana, hit your conversion targets, and flag what isn't working We want you focused on what only you can do — finding and qualifying great people. How the pay works $18.90/hour base + $81 commission for every hire you bring in. No cap. Realistic earning ranges based on performance: Solid execution: ~$26/hr effective (~$54,000/year) Top execution: ~$30+/hr effective (~$62,000+/year) The more hires you produce, the more you earn. There is no ceiling, and we don't penalize you for being good at this. Who thrives here You move fast. A new lead comes in, you've already texted within a few minutes, and called within two hours. Two-hour response windows aren't a guideline to you — they're a personal standard. You see systems, not just tasks. When something breaks, your instinct is to fix the process, not just push through. You enjoy figuring out why the cadence stalled on Tuesday and adjusting Wednesday. You bring energy to people. Every Q&A group you run, every call you make — candidates feel like they're talking to someone who genuinely believes in the work. Because you do. You like a clear scoreboard. Knowing exactly how you're performing and what it's worth motivates you. Ambiguity frustrates you. You welcome change. We update playbooks, refine scripts, and improve the pipeline often. You see those updates as upgrades, not disruptions. You hold a high bar — for yourself first. You'd rather be told you're 80% there with a clear path to 100% than told you're great when you're not. We move quickly, we measure outcomes, and we expect recruiters to take ownership of their numbers. Most days are great. Some days are hard. Both kinds matter.
