Job Description

Recruiter Coordinator Location:
Sterling Heights, MI Pay:
$18.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM We are currently seeking a dependable and professional Recruiter Coordinator for our Sterling Heights office. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, people-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced staffing and office environment. The person in this role will support the hiring process from start to finish, including applicant communication, pre-screening, onboarding, and helping candidates move through each step of the process.
Job Responsibilities:
Interview and pre-screen candidates for open positions Assist with onboarding new hires Conduct orientations and review workplace expectations with employees Coordinate and schedule background checks and drug tests Communicate with applicants regarding job opportunities, next steps, and start details Maintain accurate candidate and employee records Provide customer service support to applicants, employees, and clients Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process Help ensure all required paperwork and pre-employment steps are completed Support office operations and recruiting efforts as needed
Requirements Qualifications:
Previous recruiting, staffing, office, or customer service experience is preferred Strong communication and people skills Comfortable interviewing and speaking with candidates in person and over the phone Must be organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment Basic computer skills required Professional attitude and strong follow-up skills Dependable attendance is required
Preferred Skills:
Experience with onboarding, orientations, or applicant screening Experience scheduling or coordinating background checks and drug tests Ability to build rapport with candidates and provide a positive hiring experience This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and helping move candidates through the hiring process in a busy office setting.
