Job Description

Hiring Department Dean of Engineering Job Description The Mizzou College of Engineering invites enthusiastic candidates to apply for Student Recruitment Specialist position to help us recruit the next generation of Mizzou Engineers. Specific duties include, but not limited to:
  • Travel to off-campus recruitment events including high school and college fairs, STEM events, and university admissions events to engage with students on engineering education in Missouri and other feeder states.
  • Represent the College of Engineering at campus level sponsored recruitment events including Meet Mizzou, Countdown Mizzou, Junior Sneak Peek, Show Me Mizzou, Transfer Tuesday etc.
  • Utilize Slate CRM to track prospective students and events and analyze the data to provide insights into new opportunities for student recruitment.
  • Support recruitment staff in university participation of staff, faculty, students and alumni for national and local college recruitment fairs, and national organizations meetings for undergraduate recruitment.
  • Give presentations and tours to prospective students in coordination with other recruitment staff.
  • Schedule prospective student meetings and serve as primary contact for college related inquiries from prospective students and families through the Engineering Recruitment email.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all academic programs, fellowships, scholarships and general campus information as it relates to prospective students.
  • Collaborates with other Mizzou Engineering units such as Academic Advising, Marketing & Communications, and others as necessary to facilitate support for recruitment initiatives.
  • Complete office tasks such as registering for conferences, travel authorization forms, travel planning, etc.
  • Complete other projects as assigned by supervisor Shift Monday- Friday, 8:00-5:00.
40 hours/week, some evening and weekend responsibilities may be required. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications Public speaking/presenting experience Experience utilizing Slate or another CRM Knowledge of Mizzou Engineering programs and/or engineering education
Anticipated Hiring Range Salary Range:
$22.10- $26.00 Per hour
