Olive Branch, Mississippi 38654 POSITION SUMMARY The Bilingual Recruiter drives our talent acquisition efforts, ensuring we attract top candidates who align with our company culture. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are essential to effectively engage a diverse candidate pool. This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle — from sourcing to onboarding — while building positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sourcing & Recruiting- Source and recruit candidates using internal software, databases, social media, job board sites, job fairs, and referrals
- Assist in developing and updating job descriptions and job specifications for job orders/posts
- Actively recruit by assisting with in-bound calls, sending mass text messages to the candidate pool, and assisting active candidates who come through our doors
- Promote the company's reputation as a "best place to work" by requesting reviews and employee referrals from job seekers and existing employees Screening & Selection
- Screen candidates' resumes and job applications, scheduling interviews as appropriate
- Conduct interviews using the YES Certified Staffing Process and selection tools/methods to filter candidates for open positions
- Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements
- Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and aptitudes
- Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and qualifications with managers and clients, using a consistent set of criteria Hiring & Onboarding
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions; extend employment offers to qualified candidates
- Complete all new hire paperwork and pre-screenings, including E-Verify, background checks, drug screens, and skills testing
- Onboard new employees to become fully integrated with YES and the client company
- Support recruiting and placement efforts by identifying candidates and communicating job details, requirements, scheduled interviews, onboarding requirements, and start dates Client & Employee Relations
- Welcome visitors by greeting them in person or on the phone, and answer or refer inquiries to the appropriate parties
- Regularly communicate and meet with client representatives, acting as the main point of contact and building strong client relationships
- Resolve client-employee placement dissatisfaction by removing the employee from the assignment and onboarding a quality replacement
- Serve as an employee advocate for new hires as well as established employees
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting regulations and best practices
- Maintain proper documentation and information storage procedures
- Attend to all other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- 1-3 years of recruiting or equivalent customer service experience
- Positive, outgoing, can-do attitude
- Coachable and eager to learn
- Team-player mentality
- Close attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Curiosity and willingness to learn and use AI tools — no fluency required, but we use AI regularly to support daily operations
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT
- Customer-facing position requiring regular and consistent in-person attendance
- Support office needs during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM; additional support to clients and on-site offices outside regular hours may be required
- Regular use of phone and email for communication
- Travel is primarily local during the business day; some out-of-area travel may be expected
- Light physical activity; some work outdoors when visiting sites or facilities, otherwise performed indoors in a traditional office setting
- Extended periods of sitting while using a computer or other devices are common
- No heavy lifting expected, though occasional exertion of up to 20 lbs. of force may be required
- Good manual dexterity required to use common office equipment
