Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Mebane, North Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in supporting HR operations, ensuring smooth onboarding processes, and managing critical administrative tasks. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee onboarding processes, ensuring all documentation and procedures are completed efficiently.
- Manage HR information systems (HRIS) to maintain accurate employee records and streamline workflows.
- Conduct background checks and verify candidate credentials as part of the hiring process.
- Schedule and manage appointments, interviews, and meetings using effective calendar management.
- Prepare and extend offer letters, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with corporate recruiting teams to assist in sourcing and selecting top talent.
- Provide administrative support for HR functions, including data entry and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all HR-related tasks.
- Communicate effectively with new hires and existing employees to address inquiries and provide assistance. Requirements
- Previous experience in human resources administration or a related field.
- Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and other relevant software applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in onboarding processes and coordination of necessary pre-employment procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with candidates and employees.
- Familiarity with extending offers and preparing offer letters.
- Ability to manage calendars and schedule appointments effectively.
- Knowledge of corporate recruiting practices and procedures.
