Job Description

Debbie's Staffing is currently hiring for a Staffing Specialist in our Winston Salem, NC location!
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Pay:
$20.00 per hour, Long-Term Temp Summary/Objective Responsible for full-cycle recruiting to fill temp to hire, temporary positions or direct hire positions with business clients. Plays an important role in the placement process, and instrumental in representation of candidates, building relationships with clients and associates, and employee management. Essential Functions, Responsibilities, and Skills & Abilities Meet or exceed weekly, monthly and/or annual branch KPIs and execute strategies to achieve those goals. Work with client hiring managers to fully understand hiring objectives, as well as determine specific requirements for hiring needs. Source, interview and assign associates according to our service commitment. Attracts applicants by placing positions on job boards, referrals, and outbound communications. Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications. Build candidate pool, monitor job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks. Submit candidates to hiring managers, providing information needed to facilitate hiring decisions, including salary recommendations. Coordinate interviews and follow up activities. Prepare candidates for assignments by performing preemployment screens, validate eligibility to work, training, associate policy review, orientation and other onboarding responsibilities. Connect with associates and hiring managers on a regular basis to ensure quality expectations have been met. Use discretion and independent judgment to make hiring/firing decisions, motivate, direct, coach, evaluate and counsel associates on behavioral and performance issues. Ensure all activity is properly tracked in the applicant tracking system in a timely manner. Build strong associate and client relationships according to the company's mission, values and vision. Assist with timekeeping, payroll processing, preparation of reports and other administrative functions. Adhere to branch operations, company policies and procedures, federal, and state laws. Participate in regular branch, safety, and sales meetings as directed. Maintain confidentiality and treat others with conscientious respect. Stay abreast of current recruiting trends and recommend creative strategies to meet hiring goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions to make sound business decisions. Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to different scenarios and deal with multiple types of personalities/office climates. Strong written and verbal communications.
