Available for the right candidate Position Overview SnapDragon Associates is hiring an Executive Recruiter with professional experience in the building materials, construction products, manufacturing, or distribution industries. This opportunity is designed for an industry professional who wants to use their market knowledge, business experience, and relationships to build a successful career in executive recruiting. Previous recruiting experience is not required. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing coaching. You bring the industry credibility, communication skills, business knowledge, and desire to build relationships. Position Responsibilities As an Executive Recruiter, you will manage the recruiting process while developing relationships within a specialized building materials market.
Your responsibilities will include:
Building relationships with executives, hiring leaders, and industry professionals Developing new client partnerships and identifying hiring opportunities Learning each client's business, culture, challenges, and growth plans Identifying and recruiting passive candidates Conducting candidate interviews and professional evaluations Presenting qualified candidates to clients Coordinating interviews and maintaining communication throughout the process Managing compensation discussions and offer negotiations Guiding candidates through important career decisions Following up with clients and placed candidates Developing expertise and visibility within an assigned industry niche Managing searches from the initial kickoff through the accepted offer Preferred Industry Experience We are interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas: Lumber and building materials Millwork Windows and doors Kitchen and bath Cabinets and countertops Roofing, siding, and exterior products Flooring, tile, and surfaces Commercial doors, frames, and hardware Truss and component manufacturing HVAC or electrical distribution Construction products Manufacturing or wholesale distribution Relevant professional backgrounds may include: Outside Sales Business Development Account Management Territory or Regional Management Branch Management General Management Operations Manufacturing Dealer or Distributor Relations Sales or Operational Leadership Qualifications Professional experience in building materials or a closely related industry Strong communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable speaking with executives, owners, and industry leaders Interest in business development and consultative sales Competitive, persistent, and goal-oriented mindset Ability to manage multiple searches, relationships, and priorities Strong follow-up and organizational skills Willingness to learn executive recruiting and apply coaching Ability to work on-site in our Bedford, New Hampshire office Recruiting experience is welcomed but not required.
