This position is responsible for filling the physician staffing needs of UMass Memorial Medical Group, member hospitals and community-based physician practices. This position is responsible for sourcing qualified physicians nationally through utilization of multiple networks such as on-line computer databases, literature searches and responses to advertisement in appropriate professional journals. This position will establish relationships with internal and external resident program heads nationally to identify and recruit potential candidates. UMass Memorial Health and UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking to hire a new Provider Recruiter professional to provide expertise in the sourcing, recruitment and retention of both Physician and Advanced Practice Providers. UMass Memorial Medical Group is one of the largest and most experienced caregiver networks on the East Coast and is home to close to 1,400 physicians and 700 advanced practice providers. Our organization is the premier healthcare choice for the entirety of Central Massachusetts and beyond. Our team recruits for a fast paced, rewarding academic hospital system and its community hospital partners. The majority of our physicians have academic appointment at UMass Chan Medical School.
Recruiter Responsibilities:
Create and sustain a collaborative partnership with clinical leadership which consists of regular meetings, candidate reporting and sharing of information Ability to support a full cycle provider recruitment process to include sourcing, screening, interviews and contract negotiations Maintains and utilizes the applicant tracking system Workday, and additional internal team documentation processes for provider recruitment tracking, reporting and compliance Willing to obtain Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging training to continue the teams' mission in recruiting and retaining top diverse talent Puts the candidate experience at the center of their work. Regardless of a provider joining our network, we want them to reflect positively upon their experience with UMass Memorial Health Develops and strategizes with assigned departments to create unique solutions that drive continued recruitment success in our competitive market As a member of a tight knit team, we work together often and collaboratively to meet collective goals, develop innovations and conduct process improvements An occasional onsite presence is required although our team works majority of their time remote
Education:
A Bachelor's degree is required
Experience:
