Job Description

Talent Acquisition Specialist Department:
TEF - Talent Acquisition Location, White Plains, NY Pay Range $62,000 - $77,500 Full Time Position Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract healthcare professionals across various levels, ensuring job seekers can find suitable employment opportunities within our network. Lead with a client-centered approach, fostering positive relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Career Services team to support job readiness for candidates, integrating training and resources that enhance their qualifications for placement opportunities.
  • Conduct interviews, assess qualifications, and match candidates with appropriate job openings within our network. Collaborate with HR recruiters to fully understand position requirements and align candidate placements effectively.
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as iCIMS to streamline recruitment processes, manage candidate data, and support efficient placement workflows. Ensure accurate data entry and tracking for seamless operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, union representatives, and other stakeholders. Actively represent the Fund at job fairs, recruitment forums, and networking events to promote our mission and increase visibility.
  • Approach each candidate with humility and emotional intelligence, providing compassionate guidance during their job search and transition. Tailor support to meet each candidate's unique needs, fostering a supportive and positive candidate experience.
  • Assist in creating recruitment materials, including job advertisements for public and internal postings, to attract a diverse and qualified candidate pool.
  • Ensure adherence to Fund policies and contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment and placement processes within the Employer Relations and Placement Unit, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our efforts. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years in HR recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field, preferably within healthcare or nonprofit settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., iCIMS, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a client-centered approach with a focus on humility and emotional intelligence to support and engage candidates effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including employers, union representatives, and colleagues.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the five boroughs, Hudson Valley and Long Island as needed to support recruitment and placement activities.
Candidates must have reliable personal transportation to travel within the Bronx and surrounding service areas to support employer site visits, stakeholder meetings, and related responsibilities. Mileage reimbursement is provided for work-related travel between sites, in accordance with organizational policy.
