Full-Time Compensation:
Total compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 + equity plan for the right candidate, comprising: Base pay of $55,000 - 65,000 based on experience (paid bi-weekly), plus commission (paid monthly). Typical commission in an average year = about $10,000, in a strong year = about $25,000. As our leadership team prepares for long-term growth, we are looking for an ambitious, highly capable professional to step into a Lead Recruiter role. For the right leader, this position is structured as a key component of our succession plan, offering a clear path toward equity partnership or eventual firm ownership. The Opportunity As the Lead Recruiter, you will bridge tactical business operations with strategic company growth. You will drive revenue through inside sales, lead and mentor our recruiting team, and serve as the operational decision-maker when executive leadership is out of the office. Recruiting (50%) Source industrial and skilled trades candidates. Interview and screen candidates for the office's top jobs Interface directly with key accounts to understand their immediate and long term needs Place top talent with key accounts 2. Inside Sales & Business Development (30%) Drive client growth by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new staffing business across manufacturing and industrial sectors. Expand existing client accounts by identifying additional labor needs and delivering tailored staffing solutions. Maintain strong relationship networks with plant managers, HR directors, and operations leads. 3. Team Lead (10%) Train and onboard new recruiters, equipping them with efficient workflows and deep trade industry knowledge. Serve as the primary escalation point and operational lead during executive absences, managing day-to-day crises with authority and composure. 4. Executive Succession & Strategic Growth (10%) Work closely with senior partners to understand operational financials, client portfolio management, and long-term business strategy. Participate in formal evaluation milestones designed to transition leadership responsibilities and equity equity/ownership stakes over time.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
5+ years in staffing, recruitment, or business development, ideally within industrial, manufacturing, or skilled trades sectors.
Leadership:
Proven capability to coach, mentor, and elevate team performance in a recruiting environment.
Sales Track Record:
Demonstrated success in inside sales, account management, and client retention.
Crisis Management:
Strong decision-making capability under pressure, with the maturity to run daily operations independently.
Entrepreneurial Mindset:
Long-term vision. Drive to become an equity partner or business owner is preferred but not required.
