Job Description

Job Overview The Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement Recruiter is responsible for attracting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining high-quality employees while ensuring all required personnel records and training remain compliant. This position serves as the first point of contact for applicants and new hires, creating a positive hiring experience and helping Whitehouse Ohio Works maintain a fully staffed, well-trained workforce.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Generally responsible for the company's recruiting process by:  Participating in recruitment events by attending job fairs and seminars. Use of personal vehicle is required to attend events (mileage is reimbursed).  Creating and posting job advertisements on job websites, flyers, printed ads and wherever else recruitment ads may be necessary.  Scheduling, organizing interviews and screening potential candidates.  Conducting background checks and requesting reference information to determine applicants' employment acceptability.  Maintaining a good relationship with staff, managers and administration.  Keeping accurate records of all candidates and outcomes.  Preparing and maintaining employment records.  Maintaining applicant and employee confidentiality in accordance with our policies and procedures.  Providing support for the Human Resource Department by undertaking other duties from time to time as required by the DOO/CEO.
