Job Summary:
Promotes and exemplifies the philosophy and mission of Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Responsible for recruiting and screening qualified nurse applicants. Interviews candidates and refers them to the appropriate clinical service. Coordinates nursing recruitment advertisements and represents the organization at job fairs. Will have the ability to market the organization to potential applicants and stay abreast of latest trends in recruitment/retention and skills to identify factors of change and/or trends in nurse recruitment. Responsible for assisting in developing and implementing the Nurse Intern, Nurse Preceptor, & Nurse Retention programs. Responsible for Student Nurse Orientation and scheduling of clinicals for nursing programs contracted with JCMH. Promotes organizational growth and performance improvements by serving on committee(s) as member, co-chair, or chair. Assists with nursing staff education by providing on-going classes/in-services/skills labs. Demonstrates Competency in the

Following Primary Duties:
Collaborates with clinical peers for needed job applicants. Demonstrates proficient computer/software skills, treatment modalities and operational knowledge of equipment. Maintains current knowledge of adult learner learning skills and methods. Collaborates with clinical peers for needed education program topics. Plans and implements training programs designed to meet student and staffing needs. Evaluates the staff's/student's responses to educational instruction and as needed, make changes for improvement.
Requirements:
Professional Requirements:
Dresses in a professional and appropriate manner. Completes annual health and educational requirements in a timely manner.
Maintains regulatory requirements:

Educational/Experience/Regulatory Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse License in the state of Oklahoma. BSN required, must be willing to obtain MSN. Minimum 3 years of nursing experience. Previous work history that demonstrates steady attendance and punctuality is required.
Language Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of management.
Skills:
Proficient computer skills required. Excellent organizational skills required.
