This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is eager to build a career in recruiting and develop hands-on experience in candidate sourcing, screening, coordination, and stakeholder support. Working closely with experienced recruiters and hiring managers, the Entry-Level Recruiter will help manage multiple openings, maintain accurate candidate records, communicate with applicants, and support urgent staffing timelines. Key Responsibilities Recruitment Support & Candidate Coordination Support full-cycle recruitment activities for multiple openings across a variety of functions. Post job openings, review applications, conduct initial candidate screens, and coordinate interviews. Maintain accurate and timely candidate information in the applicant tracking system and related recruiting tools. Assist with candidate follow-up, offer coordination, and handoffs to onboarding and HR teams. Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development Use job boards, LinkedIn, social media, professional networks, referrals, and other sourcing channels to identify potential candidates. Conduct basic Boolean searches and outreach to active and passive candidates under the guidance of senior recruiting team members. Help build and maintain candidate pipelines for high-volume, specialized, and rapidly developing staffing needs. Hiring Manager & Team Support Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to learn position requirements, priorities, and contract-specific staffing needs. Provide timely status updates and assist with recruitment plans for urgent or high-volume requisitions. Adapt quickly to changing requirements, new job categories, and shifting operational priorities. Candidate Experience & Reporting Provide professional, responsive, and respectful communication throughout the candidate experience. Track recruiting activity and assist with reports related to applicant flow, interviews, offers, hires, and other recruiting metrics. Follow established recruiting processes, documentation standards, and applicable compliance requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field. Zero to one year of professional experience in recruiting, human resources, customer service, sales, administration, or a related field; relevant internships, campus recruiting, or student leadership experience may be considered. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to speak with candidates and internal stakeholders. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, learn quickly, and remain professional in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment. Comfort using Microsoft Office and learning applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and workflow tools. Ability to work nights and weekends as needed based on company, client, and contract requirements. Preferred Qualifications Recruiting, human resources, staffing, sales, or customer service internship or work experience. Exposure to job boards, LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems, or candidate sourcing tools. Basic to intermediate Excel skills. Experience with Smartsheet or similar workflow tracking tools. Interest in government contracting, emergency management, high-volume staffing, or mission-focused operations. Work Environment This position is based onsite in Jacksonville, Florida. No relocation or remote options are available. Standard hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. After-hours and weekend work may be required based on company and contract needs. This role supports government contracts, and staffing needs may shift rapidly based on operational requirements. The position requires sustained computer work, frequent communication with candidates and internal stakeholders, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
