Job Description
Description Our client in the Farmington, Connecticut area is seeking a Contract HR Recruiter to support hiring efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an experienced recruiting professional who has managed full-cycle hiring for hourly and skilled manufacturing positions and is comfortable working closely with HR leadership and plant-based hiring teams. Key Responsibilities + Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, offer extension, and onboarding coordination + Handle candidate flow through Workday and maintain accurate recruiting activity and documentation + Support hiring for a variety of manufacturing and operational roles, including skilled machinery workers and plant personnel + Partner with HR leadership and hiring managers to prioritize open positions and keep recruiting timelines on track + Greet and guide candidates through the onsite interview process + Participate in regular recruiting meetings and provide updates on hiring progress + Assist with recruiting efforts related to organizational growth and workforce changes Additional Details + Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote + Contract assignment expected to last 3-6 months Requirements + Prior full-cycle recruiting experience in a manufacturing, plant, or industrial environment + Strong background recruiting for hourly positions and skilled manufacturing talent + Experience using Workday or a similar applicant tracking system + Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced recruiting environment + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions at once + HR Generalist experience is preferred TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
