Hybrid Monday- Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. Must be comfortable commuting to either the Hampton or Norfolk office. What You'll Do As the HR Recruiter, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for positions such as Direct Support Professionals, Administrative Assistants and Government Contract positions. Manage full-cycle recruiting from approved requisition through accepted offer Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and hiring plans Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking, employee referrals, staffing agencies, military transition programs, workforce organizations, and community partnerships Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill positions Review resumes, conduct phone screens, evaluate qualifications, and coordinate interviews Extend contingent offers and coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screens, credential verification, security clearance documentation, and onboarding Recruit for positions supporting federal government contracts, including roles requiring security clearances and military installation access Coordinate the AbilityOne qualification process while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality Maintain accurate recruiting data within the ATS and HRIS Track recruiting metrics and provide hiring updates to managers Coordinate and attend job fairs, hiring events, military recruiting events, and community outreach activities Build partnerships with workforce agencies, colleges, vocational rehabilitation providers, staffing partners, and military organizations Support recruitment marketing, employer branding, and workforce planning initiatives Ensure recruiting activities comply with all applicable employment laws and government contracting requirements Assist with recruiting support for West Coast Government Contract operations when needed Collaborate with the HR team on onboarding, process improvements, and special projects Qualifications Required Minimum 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (equivalent experience considered) Experience recruiting in government contracting, healthcare, nonprofit, manufacturing, staffing agency, or other compliance-driven environments This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent
