) Pioneer Health is growing, and we are seeking a locally based Specialty Physician Recruiter to support full-cycle recruitment for our specialty physician teams across Tampa Bay and West/Central Florida. This role is ideal for someone who understands the local physician market, enjoys building meaningful candidate relationships, and can confidently represent Pioneer's physician-led culture, continued growth, and commitment to culture, compassion, and quality care. Manage full-cycle recruitment for specialty physician openings, including sourcing, screening, candidate communication, interview coordination, site visits, and offer follow-up. Build and maintain a local network of specialty physicians, residency/fellowship programs, and referral sources across the Tampa Bay and West/Central Florida market. Serve as a strong ambassador for Pioneer by sharing our physician-led culture, growth across Central and West Florida, Pioneer Academy of Knowledge, and commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. Partner closely with Medical Directors and executive leadership to understand each role's clinical needs, schedule expectations, culture fit, and site-specific requirements. Provide a positive, organized candidate experience from initial outreach through signed offer and transition to onboarding. Maintain recruitment pipeline updates, track progress on open searches, and communicate barriers or hard-to-fill roles early so strategy can be adjusted when needed. Represent Pioneer at conferences, residency and fellowship events, and local networking opportunities that support physician recruitment. Based in the Tampa Bay area, with the ability to work a hybrid schedule and travel locally to Pioneer and partner-hospital sites as needed. At least 3 years of physician or specialty clinical recruiting experience, either in-house or agency; experience recruiting specialty physicians is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success guiding physician candidates through the recruitment process and supporting signed offers. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate with highly sought-after physician candidates in a professional, credible, and personable manner. Working knowledge of the Tampa Bay and West/Central Florida hospital and physician landscape. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong follow-through, organization, and attention to detail. Bachelor's degree preferred in healthcare administration, human resources, business, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
