Job Description

Recruiter (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary:
This position plays a critical role in identifying and attracting executive-level talent by combining deep market expertise with systematic intelligence gathering. The role bridges hands-on sourcing with strategic infrastructure development, ensuring that market insights are not only discovered but captured and leveraged across multiple searches. This recruiter will partner closely with business leaders to understand talent needs, map competitive landscapes, and build repeatable processes that compound learning over time. The position requires someone who naturally seeks patterns and efficiencies, transforming individual search efforts into organizational knowledge that strengthens future talent acquisition. Success comes from balancing immediate delivery of executive candidates with thoughtful improvements to how market intelligence is gathered, structured, and shared across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive market-aligned sourcing efforts for executive roles by partnering with leaders to clarify talent profiles and surface relevant candidate pools Actively map executive talent markets to identify patterns, adjacencies, and non-obvious talent segments Advance well-calibrated candidate slates through thoughtful application of market intelligence and talent signals Improve usage of sourcing tools, data structures, and workflows to make market intelligence more accessible and actionable Build infrastructure that enables anticipatory sharing of market maps, talent insights, and sourcing learnings across searches Capture insights from live searches in reusable formats that prevent knowledge loss and duplication of effort Identify friction points in tools, workflows, and data structures and refine how intelligence is captured and shared Test talent hypotheses using sourcing tools to generate signal and validate market assumptions Translate business needs into market-relevant talent strategies that reflect competitive realities Balance immediate search delivery with longer-term improvements that elevate overall market intelligence quality
Requirements:
Ten or more years of experience supporting leadership or executive searches through market mapping, talent research, and structured insight delivery Five or more years of proven ability building knowledge workflows, taxonomies, and repositories that enable market learnings to be reused across searches Five or more years of hands-on expertise operating and improving recruiting and talent intelligence systems to enhance workflows Deep understanding of executive talent markets and competitive landscape dynamics Advanced sourcing and research methodologies for leadership-level positions Expertise in building taxonomies, repositories, and knowledge management systems Proficiency with recruiting and talent intelligence platforms and tools Strong pattern recognition and ability to identify leverage points across searches Systems-level thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities Ability to structure and capture market insights for organizational reuse Strategic partnership skills to collaborate effectively with business leaders and recruiting teams Data-driven approach to testing assumptions and refining talent strategies Workflow optimization and process improvement mindset
