TempToFT Recruiter (Hybrid) | Temp to Hire | San Rafael | $43-$51/hour A well-established nonprofit organization is seeking a Full-Cycle Recruiter to join its collaborative Human Resources team. This role partners closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to support hiring across multiple programs, with a primary focus on high-volume direct service roles, management and professional positions. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who values meaningful candidate relationships, works comfortably with autonomy, and wants to contribute to a mission-driven, people-centered organization.

Location:

Hybrid - 4 days onsite in San Rafael (near SMART), 1 day remote

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday, typical business hours with some flexibility

Recruiter Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly, high-turnover roles and professional staff Conduct conversational, soft-skill-focused interviews that assess culture fit and commitment Build and maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process Partner closely with hiring managers and provide regular updates Coordinate interviews, offers, background checks, and onboarding steps Learn internal systems, policies, and processes independently

Recruiter Qualifications:

Prior full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in high-volume or mission-driven environments Strong interpersonal and interviewing skills Comfortable recruiting for hourly roles as well as leadership and professional positions Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple openings at once Ability to learn ATS/HR systems quickly
