Sourcer Job Description This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and delivering highly qualified technical talent in a fast-paced, high-volume environment within aerospace, defense, or similarly complex technical industries. The Sourcer develops and executes multi-channel sourcing strategies, builds strong candidate pipelines for critical roles, and partners closely with recruiters to ensure a steady flow of top technical candidates for current and anticipated hiring needs. Responsibilities Identify, source, and engage qualified candidates for current and anticipated hiring needs across technical and functional disciplines, with a strong emphasis on technical roles. Develop and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, niche communities, and employee referrals. Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for critical technical roles to ensure recruiters have a consistent flow of qualified talent. Manage a high-volume requisition load, typically handling 10 or more high-priority requisitions at any given time. Conduct proactive market research to identify talent pools and stay informed about industry trends in aerospace, defense, and other highly technical sectors. Screen and qualify candidates based on technical and functional requirements, ensuring strong alignment with role expectations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information and activity tracking within the applicant tracking system (ATS). Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring teams to understand role requirements and refine sourcing strategies. Engage candidates through clear, professional communication to build interest in opportunities and maintain ongoing relationships. Continuously optimize sourcing processes and channels to improve speed, quality, and efficiency of talent delivery. Essential Skills A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sourcer role within a high-volume aerospace, defense, or highly technical organization. Proven experience sourcing both technical and functional skill sets, with technical sourcing experience being critical and non-negotiable. Demonstrated success managing a high-volume requisition environment, including handling 10 or more high-priority requisitions simultaneously. Strong technical recruiting and sourcing capabilities, including experience identifying and engaging specialized technical talent. Hands-on experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage and track candidates. Proficiency using LinkedIn Recruiter and other professional networking tools for talent identification and engagement. Ability to develop and maintain candidate pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles. Strong communication and relationship-building skills to effectively engage candidates and collaborate with recruiters. US citizenship. Bachelor's degree. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience sourcing in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated and technical industries. Familiarity with niche technical communities, forums, and professional groups for targeted talent sourcing. Ability to prioritize and organize work in a fast-paced environment with multiple high-priority requisitions. Strong attention to detail when screening candidates and updating records in the ATS. Proactive and resourceful approach to identifying new sourcing channels and methods. Work Environment This position operates in an office environment, working with digital sourcing tools, applicant tracking systems, and professional networking platforms. The role involves regular computer-based work, online research, and virtual communication with candidates and internal recruiting partners in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Longmont, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
