Job Title:
Talent Acquisition Specialist Overview Centennial Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full-cycle recruiting efforts across federal and commercial programs. This individual will play a critical role in sourcing, engaging, and hiring top talent—particularly for proposal-driven and award-contingent opportunities. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting within the federal contracting space and understands clearance requirements, compliance standards, and fast-paced hiring cycles. Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical, functional, and leadership roles across federal programs and corporate functions Support proposal staffing efforts, including identifying candidates for Key Personnel roles and securing Letters of Commitment (LOCs) Partner with hiring managers, capture teams, and proposal teams to align recruiting strategies with business needs Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies using platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Boolean/X-ray search techniques Screen candidates to assess qualifications, technical capabilities, clearance status, and cultural fit Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Coordinate interviews, provide candidate updates, and ensure a positive candidate experience Ensure compliance with federal hiring requirements, including Public Trust and clearance eligibility Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, submission-to-interview ratios) and provide reporting to leadership Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-priority skill sets (e.g., Cloud, DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, Federal Health, Finance/Policy) Support employer branding initiatives and represent the company at recruiting events and industry forums
Requirements:
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field At least 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within federal contracting or government consulting Demonstrated experience supporting proposal-based recruiting and/or rapid hiring environments Experience recruiting for technical roles Proficiency with Boolean search techniques and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.) Experience using an ATS Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment U.S. Citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements) Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting agencies such as IRS, HHS, CMS, FDA, or DHS Familiarity with federal contract vehicles (e.g., GSA
MAS, OASIS+, STARS III
) Experience recruiting for Key Personnel roles on federal proposals Experience in both corporate and proposal recruiting environments Key Competencies Strategic sourcing & pipeline development Proposal staffing & rapid response recruiting Stakeholder collaboration (BD, capture, hiring managers) Attention to detail & compliance awareness Data-driven decision making Strong organizational and time management skills
