We are a growing non-medical home care agency serving Broward County and are seeking a motivated, organized, and people-focused Staffing Coordinator & Caregiver Recruiter to join our team. This position is critical to our success. You will be responsible for attracting exceptional caregivers, ensuring proper staffing coverage, supporting caregiver retention, and helping create an outstanding experience for both clients and caregivers. Position Summary Talent Acquisition & Staffing Coordinator oversees the full caregiver lifecycle—from sourcing and hiring to scheduling, retention, and compliance management. This role serves as the primary point of contact for caregivers and plays a key role in maintaining quality care and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, bilingual, customer-service oriented, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities Caregiver Recruitment & Hiring Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified: Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) Home Health Aides (HHAs) Companion Caregivers Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), when applicable Develop and maintain a strong caregiver pipeline to support current and future staffing needs.

Indeed and recruiting platforms Social media channels Employee referral programs Community outreach initiatives Job fairs and networking events Local healthcare organizations and training programs Conduct phone screenings, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding activities. Promote the agency's culture, mission, and growth opportunities to attract top talent. Staffing & Scheduling Manage daily caregiver schedules and client assignments. Coordinate staffing coverage for new client admissions and ongoing cases. Respond promptly to call-offs, schedule changes, and urgent staffing needs. Match caregivers to clients based on skills, experience, availability, personality, and client preferences. Monitor staffing efficiency, overtime, and schedule coverage. Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule. Compliance & Credential Management Maintain caregiver personnel files in compliance with Florida regulations and agency standards.
Track and manage:
Level II Background Screenings CPR Certifications TB Screenings Driver Documentation Licenses and Certifications Continuing Education Requirements Monitor expiration dates and ensure timely renewals. Support licensing surveys, audits, and compliance reviews. Caregiver Engagement & Retention Build strong relationships with caregivers through consistent communication and support. Conduct caregiver check-ins, recognition initiatives, and retention efforts. Assist with conflict resolution and employee concerns. Promote a positive, team-oriented workplace culture. Support employee recognition programs and engagement activities. Administrative Support Answer and route incoming office calls professionally. Maintain accurate employee and caregiver records. Assist with onboarding paperwork and orientation. Update scheduling, recruiting, and HR systems. Support office operations and client service initiatives as needed. Qualifications Required Minimum 1 year of experience in: Home care staffing Caregiver recruiting Healthcare scheduling Healthcare operations or HR Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to remain calm and effective in urgent staffing situations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Bilingual English and Spanish. Preferred Experience in home care, home health, healthcare staffing, or senior care. Knowledge of Florida home care regulations and caregiver compliance requirements. Experience with scheduling software, applicant tracking systems, and HR platforms. Experience conducting background checks and credential verification. Performance Expectations & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Success in this role will be measured through the following key performance metrics: Weekly Goals Conduct 15-20 caregiver interviews. Generate a minimum of 10 qualified caregiver applicants. Maintain schedule fill rates of 95% or higher. Resolve staffing call-offs and urgent coverage requests promptly. Maintain accurate and timely CRM and employee record updates. Monthly Goals Hire and onboard 4-8 qualified caregivers monthly. Maintain caregiver retention goals established by agency leadership. Ensure 100% compliance on active caregiver files. Participate in at least one caregiver recruiting or community outreach event monthly. Achieve agency staffing and client service objectives. Success Factors Ability to recruit and retain quality caregivers. Strong attention to detail and compliance management. Effective communication with caregivers, clients, and team members. Reliable scheduling performance and responsiveness. Positive contribution to agency culture and growth. Compensation & Benefits $21.00
