At TeachStart, you'll use your education experience to help solve this challenge by opening clear, supported, and debt-free pathways into teaching. About the Role As a TeachStart Recruitment Consultant, you'll work closely with aspiring educators and school partners to build meaningful pathways into full-time teaching—supporting Fellows from their first conversation through credentialing and placement.

What You'll Do:

Fellow recruitment: Identify, assess, and vet candidates through outreach, interviews, reference checks, and application review to ensure strong alignment with TeachStart's mission and program standards Fellow coaching and support: Build long-term relationships with TeachStart Fellows, providing guidance, feedback, and encouragement throughout their journey into teaching Pathway management: Help Fellows navigate substitute teaching placements, credential progress, and next-step opportunities toward full-time classroom roles Relationship management: Partner closely with internal teams and school partners to ensure placements are thoughtful, supportive, and aligned with school needs Perks + Benefits Medical, vision, and dental insurance Generous PTO and flexible time off Incentive programs for exceeding expectations Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in our office, 2 days work from home Startup-style environment where ideas are valued and impact is visible Collaborative, mission-driven team culture Modern office setup with the tools you need to do your best work About You The ideal candidate will bring: Background in education, recruitment, sales, or a people-facing role Strong understanding of education systems and school environments Excellent communication and relationship-building skills High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Comfort using technology and digital tools Growth mindset, resilience, and a strong sense of ownership Proven ability to deliver meaningful outcomes for candidates or customers
