Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary :
SEACORP is seeking a technical recruiter to act as the central clearinghouse for all Software Engineering and Developer talent acquisition activities. In this capacity they will identify and pursue channels of candidates, source talent to apply as candidates, and evaluate talent for eligibility and best alignment to roles across the entire company. They will partner with hiring managers to thoroughly understand the business and the needs of each program. They will be the primary point of contact for candidates through the entirety of the recruiting process. They will work closely with the Recruiting team, the broader Human Resources team, other administrative departments to effectively engage and manage candidates through the recruiting process. This position requires a solid understanding of software development processes, methods and practices, as well as the ability to communicate effectively across both the technical and administrative groups supported. It is critical to the success of the that the Technical Recruiter demonstrates the ability to develop and manage professional relationships with internal business partners, employees and candidates is critical.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Continuously engage Business Area Managers and other hiring managers to build a knowledge of the business, understand talent needs, advise on process, recommend candidate actions, and provide guidance on compliance, as well as manage interviewing, candidate selection and offer development. Manage and maintain current knowledge base of available software engineer and developer hiring needs and prospective talent.

Work with internal SME's to thoroughly understand the critical elements needed for each program area. Prescreen software engineer or developer candidates to assess both eligibility and fit for open and future roles.

Provide concise but descriptive, actionable feedback to internal business partners and hiring managers. Source candidates using a variety of means. Target populations of desired talent, creating viable just-in-time candidates and pools of potential talent for future opportunities. Research, engage and maintain connections with passive candidates. Manage personal relationships with all external points of contact within SEACORP's candidate pipelines. Develop and strengthen new talent sourcing options.

Quickly and effectively stand-up new pipelines of talent as the geographic or functional needs of the business evolve. Provide high quality, consistent customer service to candidates, employees, internal business partners, external contacts, and SEACORP leadership. Utilize relevant metrics and market data to assess recruiting efforts, advise managers, and make recommendations to improve recruiting processes and activities. Advocate for and ensure that SEACORP is a consistent Equal Opportunity Employer in its hiring activities. This is a great role for an individual who has been recruiting similar roles for 3 or more years, or a software engineer or developer who is looking to try something outside of day-to-day programming. Previous experience in the defense industry is certainly helpful but not required.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma/GED required; any degree related to engineering or software development is nice to have.
Experience:
3+ years recruiting software engineers and developers. This is a great role for an individual who has been recruiting similar roles for 3 or more years, or a software engineer or developer who is looking to try something outside of day-to-day programming. Previous experience in the defense industry is certainly helpful but not required. As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.
