The Recruiter is a trusted business partner to our Hiring Managers, creating and driving a talent acquisition strategy that supports business needs and growth. This role will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. The responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. As part of the Giving HR team, the Recruiter will also participate in global projects focused on continuous improvement. This is an onsite position located in Amarillo, TX. Responsibilities Serves as a representative for company activities related to the recruitment and hiring of job applicants for our W2 and 1099 staffing needs. Works closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods, and develop/revise job postings, recruitment strategies, and competencies. Proactively identifies and engages high-quality candidates through direct-sourcing methods such as Indeed, LinkedIn, or other specialty job boards, professional networks, and referrals Monitors active job postings both sponsored and on the company website. Actively participates in networking events and online platforms to maximize employer branding. Seeks opportunities to implement innovative and creative methods to help drive an exceptional candidate experience and a more advanced and efficient recruitment process. Travels within the geographic operating footprint of the company to attend recruiting events including job fairs, community events, and other venues likely to result in positive recruiting outcomes. Determines the appropriateness of candidates through conversation via in-person or virtual engagement. Communicates with local leadership, onboarding specialists and/or HR leadership about potential candidates. Utilize social media networks and employee referrals to build out the candidate pipeline. Perform other comparable and related duties, as assigned.
