GARNEY A

Talent Acquisition Specialist position is available at Garney. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key part in building our team of skilled water & wastewater treatment professionals. You will source, identify, and attract qualified candidates for a variety of exciting positions across the industry.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Partner with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and requirements

Proactively source and identify top talent through various channels, including online job boards, industry organizations, and professional networks

Conduct phone screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit

Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to offer

Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system

Build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and job market conditions for water & wastewater treatment positions

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Foundational Experience:

0-2 years of experience in recruitment, human resources, or general administrative support

Sourcing Interest & Aptitude:

Eagerness or baseline experience in sourcing and identifying qualified candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, and databases

Understanding of Hiring Fundamentals:

Basic knowledge of recruitment life cycle processes, sourcing techniques, and industry best practices

Interpersonal Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills

Organization & Time Management:

Ability to stay organized, work independently with guidance, and handle multiple coordination tasks simultaneously

Tech-Savviness:

Familiarity or quick adaptability with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR software, and modern collaboration tools

Flexibility:

Openness to occasional travel for career fairs, university recruiting, or company events
