Position Summary:
Hutto ISD is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented individual to provide summer help in the TMPS Department. This temporary position is ideal for a college student or recent graduate interested in gaining experience in a professional office setting while supporting the district's HR operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; current college enrollment in Human Resources, Business, Education, or a related field preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Familiarity with Google Applications (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc.) Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Professional demeanor and willingness to learn
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of new hire paperwork and orientation materials Help with posting job openings and tracking applicants Organize and maintain employee files and records Support summer hiring processes for substitutes, temporary staff, and seasonal workers Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and general office duties Provide support to TMPS staff on various projects and day-to-day tasks Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Other duties as assigned
