Salary What you'll do: HR Recruiter serves as a dedicated recruiting partner responsible for managing all hiring needs. This position works closely with all hiring managers to proactively recruit, source, and hire both field employees and professional staff needed to support company growth and operational success. This role functions similarly to an embedded staffing partner, ensuring positions are filled efficiently, workforce needs are anticipated, and teams remain fully staffed to meet business objectives. Recruiting responsibilities include hourly field personnel, seasonal employees, skilled trades, sales professionals, administrative staff, supervisors, managers, and other salaried positions. Experience recruiting both hourly and salaried positions. Experience recruiting for landscaping, construction, maintenance, manufacturing, sales, service, or related industries preferred. Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, recruiting strategies, and candidate engagement. Experience managing multiple openings simultaneously across various departments and job levels. Knowledge of employment and labor laws. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms (Paycom preferred). Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Ability to influence hiring decisions and partner effectively with business leaders. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary recruiting partner for Operations Managers, Department Leaders, and Hiring Managers. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all assigned openings from requisition approval through candidate start date. Recruit for a variety of positions including field operations, landscaping, irrigation, enhancement, snow removal, sales, administrative, management, and professional-level roles. Meet regularly with department leaders to review staffing needs, turnover trends, workforce gaps, succession planning, and future hiring demands. Develop recruiting strategies tailored to individual positions, departments, and labor market conditions. Source candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, social media, community outreach, recruiting events, industry associations, and direct sourcing efforts. Build and maintain active candidate pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions. Conduct candidate screening, interviews, assessments, reference checks, and pre-employment processes. Coordinate interviews and provide hiring recommendations to managers. Ensure timely movement of candidates through the hiring process to reduce time-to-fill and improve candidate experience. Partner with operations leaders to ensure crews are appropriately staffed and mobilized to meet customer commitments. Support recruitment efforts during seasonal hiring surges and emergency weather events. Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure new hires are prepared for orientation and successful integration into the organization. Maintain recruiting compliance and accurate candidate records within Paycom and other recruiting systems. Develop relationships with workforce agencies, trade schools, colleges, community organizations, and industry groups to strengthen recruiting pipelines. Attend job fairs, career events, networking functions, and recruiting initiatives to promote the company as an employer of choice. Track and report recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, applicant flow, open requisitions, and hiring outcomes.
